Who can you trust? Who can you believe?
In a world where discovering truth seems to be more and more complicated, what you actually believe is more important than ever. Belief matters—it impacts everything you think, say, and do.

The question is, how do you know who or what to believe? Who can you trust? This is the very purpose of the Bible; The Bible reveals to us the one who is worthy of belief!

“but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.”
John 20:31 (ESV)

For the Christian, belief is a lot less about a set of facts, a verifiable history, or even a crystal-clear understanding of the world. Don’t get me wrong, those things are important but they are not the bedrock of faith. True belief is not found in a doctrine, it’s found in a person, Jesus Christ! The message of scripture leads us to one all-important question: Is Jesus who he claims to be?

One moment in all of history screams a resounding YES!: The Resurrection. He did exactly what He said He would do, because He is exactly who He claimed to be. He is worthy of our belief.

“Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?‘”
John 11:25–26 (ESV)

When it’s all said and done, when all the stories, opinions, and teachings have been heard and weighed, there is only one question that really matters. In the words of Jesus himself, “do you believe this?”

What do you believe? Absolutely everything in your life will flow from what you really believe about Jesus. Jesus is life and in Him alone we find life. We find eternal life, we find abundant life, we find a life worth living. We find, that by believing, we have life in His name.
