Wow.

Can you believe that we are celebrating Thanksgiving again?

It seems like this past year has flown by with so many things happening; trying to get back to normalcy in our lives after all the changes through the pandemic, yet still having to deal with the busyness of everyday life that somehow hasn’t seemed to slow down.

When I look back on this past year, I am so thankful for everything and everyone that God has put in my life.

I admit there are days where I want to run away and hide somewhere no one can find me. But when I am overwhelmed like this, God reminds me that He is control and I can breathe.

I’m reminded to stop and remember everything that have to be thankful for. There are so many things that come to mind, especially my family (we were blessed with another granddaughter this year). Every time I think about or see my grandkids it makes me smile.

God has provided me with so much. I have everything I need and more. I need to remember that being thankful is not just for the Thanksgiving season but for every day of the year.

I Thessalonians 5:18 says,

“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

And Psalm 106:1 says,

“Praise the Lord! Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast loves endures forever!”

These are verses that I need to claim and remember every day throughout the year. I want to honor and glorify God in all that I do.

I pray that you all have a Blessed and Happy Thanksgiving!
