A Letter From Our Pastor
A letter to LifePoint
So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you have to endure many trials for a little while. 7 These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world. 8 You love him even though you have never seen him. Though you do not see him now, you trust him; and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy. 1 Peter 1:6-8 (NLT2)
Most of us have never seen a time of such uncertainty. The world we knew just days ago has been changed. Waiting, preparing, and speculating abound. For those of us who are children of God, this is a glorious collision. A collision between faith and sight, a collision between spiritual and physical, a collision between trusting God and trusting man. We trust our Father in Heaven.
As the Lead Pastor of LifePoint, I want to thank our faithful and tireless staff for adjusting and readjusting ministry to daily change. I want to thank our deacons, trustees and ministry directors for coming together in the spirit of love to minister to one another and the community we serve. I want to thank the family that is LifePoint. Your grace-filled spirit and Christ likeness is encouraging people across the Pioneer Valley.
I would like to direct you to our website, LifePoint.online, as a source of information and connection during these ever-changing times. There you will find church updates, schedule changes, contact information, and spiritual encouragement for adults, teens and children. It will be the hub of LifePoint communication. In the coming days we will be announcing some great opportunities to pray for and minister to those in need.
Let me encourage all of you to continue to honor God in worship through our livestream worship service at 4:30pm Saturday and 10:00 am Sunday. This is also a great opportunity to invite friends, family and neighbors to join us as well. Just click watch live on our website.
Let me encourage you to connect in fellowship through a video LifeGroup. We need each other more than ever. https://lifepoint.online/lifegroups/

Most of all, you must determine to draw closer to the God who loves you. Spend time with Him daily in the Bible and prayer. Serve Him by serving others. Share His good news with someone who needs hope. I’m praying for you. I love you. One day we will see that no matter why this happened, no matter the source, no matter the struggle, God has meant it for good!
For the Glory of God,
